Individual courses and bundled access, structured for hobbyists at different stages of the craft.
How is the curriculum organized? Courses are grouped by skill level and project type. Each course is self-contained and includes all the video lessons, written references, and pattern files needed to complete the featured project. There is no subscription requirement to access individual courses.
The starting point for anyone new to leatherwork. This course covers the concepts and physical skills that every subsequent project depends on.
Three courses grouped together covering the full range of small leather goods. Includes the Foundation Course plus two project-specific courses.
Belt construction involves different challenges than small accessories. Strap cutting, buckle attachment, hole spacing, and edge finishing at length all require specific attention.
Surface decoration through tooling is a distinct discipline within leatherwork. This course introduces the swivel knife, beveler, and backgrounder, and covers basic floral and geometric patterns.
No prior experience is needed for the Foundation Course or the Wallet and Accessories Bundle. Both are structured with the assumption that you have never worked with leather before. The Belt Making and Tooling courses assume familiarity with basic cutting and stitching, so completing the Foundation Course first is helpful.
Each course includes a detailed materials and tools list before you begin. For the Foundation Course, a modest starter set of five to six tools is sufficient. The full list with notes on which items have acceptable budget alternatives is provided as part of the course materials.
